We in Jammu and Kashmir are severely lacking in super speciality hospital facilities that can provide high quality and safe sub-speciality care. Due to this, either the patients have to travel great distances outside the J&K state or continue to suffer without proper treatment. For instance, we are sending our children with heart disease to far-off places like Kochi, Delhi, Mumbai, etc to get their heart surgeries done as such facilities are not available locally. This incurs additional travel and lodging cost, not to mention precious time spent in travelling to these places.

With this hospital, we can treat such patients closer to their home and not have the need to send them outside the state thousands of kilometres away.

A great number of people in J&K cannot afford high quality medical and surgical super specialty treatment. We want to fill this gap by bringing up this health facility.

We therefore, need a collective support to bring up and run this holy project to bring comfort to our suffering people.
